Releasing 10 Years of Tax Returns

Today, we released 10 years of tax returns in an unprecedented display of transparency. Granite Staters deserve to know exactly who their Governor is working for and who they worked for before running for office. The Sununu administration has been one of the least transparent administrations in New Hampshire history. Whether it’s appointments, campaign finance, or out-of-state travel, there has been a disturbing lack of transparency. Today, I released 10 years of tax returns because I’m committed to being open and transparent with the public. I call on Governor Sununu and all other candidates for Governor to join me in releasing 10 years of tax returns.
For almost a decade, I represented low-to-middle income Granite State families, seniors, and veterans often up against big bureaucracy and big corporations. As I took on these fights for working people, I came to realize that all too often the laws themselves were broken. Too many of them were written behind closed doors to protect big corporations and the entitled elite, not middle-class Granite Staters. Today, I took what will be the first of many significant steps to promote transparency in government.
